My tortoises

Some of you have requested a photo of my tortoises.
Here they are having a treat. Normally they eat weeds.
Their names are Ebbie and Rosie.

nom nom nom x) I find Tortoises fascinating..
 
Thanks for sharing pix. They're gorgeous. I love tortoises but only have a patio garden so no fresh grass so we decided not to get any. Am well jell of you having two! Do you know their ages?

Ebbie is 3 and Rosie is 2.
They were incubated at the temperature for females but until they get older we won't know for sure that they're girlies.
 
They have such endearing characters. They both love tickles under the chin. ^)
They both come when called and they go in a straight line everywhere, even if it means over, under or through something. Tortie satnav only does one move and it straight ahead! Sometimes I worry about them climbing and clambering all over the place but they always manage and are much more versatile than you'd think. Also don't believe that torties are slow.....they can really move at speed when they want to. :))
 
I really want some torts. My old flatmate has 3, a 5 year old hermanns, a 9 month old sulcata, and a 70(ish) year old hermanns that I stole from the RSPCA :))

I think I'd kill for an Indian Star!
 
Aww, they are sooo beautiful! I've found it so interesting reading about them on here!
 
My tortoise would race over if she saw those strawberries! She wont touch cucumber, but loves plums, and any berry fruit. She also loves tinned cat/dog food which they are supposed to have every few weeks. (in the wild they would eat slugs and insects off the veggies) when she gets going I really struggle to find enough weeds for her in the garden! what with Bertie as well....super cute torties!
 
I've always loved tortoises and these two are very beautiful indeed! :))
 
Oh they are so beautiful! I have always wanted a tortoise but have no garden so I cannot. I love them.
 
WOW i had no idea they had such a variety of foods they liked!

Check out one of them 'hiding' some under her shell :(|)x)x)
