My huuge cage from Zooplus and the other bits I ordered all arrived this morning. I'm really pleased and can't wait to get the boys into their new home, but there is some major furniture re-arranging to be done. :))

eeee I love getting new things for the piggles...I get so excited for them! Bet your boys will love their new place :)p

Imaginary high five! I recieved my zooplus order today aswell! :)) Log bridge, jingly wooden ball and treat ball - happy piggies all round :)

Well, my lounge is now clear for the piggy cage. I've moved the chinchillas back into the little bedroom, where they always used to live and it's cooler for them in there. It was hard work with four big cages to move, but I did it all by myself so am pleased with myself. I didn't have enough energy to set the new piggy cage up, but may do that tomorrow. :)

What cage did you get?

I got my order yesterday also but I was a little dissapointed. The corner house was smaller than I thought it'd be & the bench - there is no way my chunky monkeys have enough room to sit on it!

I got the Maxi xxl (120cm). I liked the corner house. I got the largest one, but I didn't get the bench. What a shame it's not very big :(

Well, I've finally managed to get the cages sorted out. My piggies now have a total of 220cm long cage, well two joined.

I have the cages end to end and joined by those bendy logs. I have their heatpad and snuggle oo in the smaller cage and then the corner house at the furthest end of the bigger cage.

I put the boys in the new cage with some of their old toys and hay etc and they settled nicely in and after having a cursory look at the log ramp, retired to the corner house. Later I balanced some bits of carrot on top of the ramp to encourage them to explore it and Hamish did well. Almost managed to reach the carrot before it rolled off into the other side. I felt sorry for him and retrieved it for him. After a while I put them back into the old section, as I was worried about Hamish getting chilled, and after a little wander and Dougal managed to get a bit of carrot off the top of the ramp successfully, by stretching up, they settled down to sleep in their customary places.

I really want them to get the hang of the ramp so they realise the space they have. I wonder how long it will take?
