mysterious lump in millie's mouth...

hey guys, i'm not sure what you'll make of this...
since we lost minnie to pneumonia, i've been especailly over protective of our two remaining girls. i was examining millie's mouth for red sores since i read a post on here, and found a small lump on one side that seems to be inside her mouth. its smaller than a pea, and she's still eating fine. my mum reckons she's been bitten by something, but do you think it's worth taking her to the vet? i'm trying to persuade mum to take her, as after we lost minnie mum said "if only we'd taken her to the vet sooner" as she'd been not her usual self for a while but we thought she was just missing my sister, who's guinea minnie was.

I can't think of anything from your description, nothing comes to mind regarding lumps in the mouth. I know it'd be a tricky task, but would you be able to try taking a picture of Millie's mouth and the lump and posting it on here?

If Millie is eating well then it can't be bothering her too much, which is good.

i had another feel today and its more in her cheek than her mouth, and you can pull it away from her cheekbone.

You need an image hosting account - one example being www.photobucket.com. You upload your photo onto there, and use the IMG code that you're given for that photo, just copy and paste that code into your post on the forum.
