I think, I really hope!
Duck has had what looked like a runny eye since Christmas. I couldn't see a reason, the vet couldn't see a reason. It was the other eye to the one that had the hay seed in it. The vet suggested saline baths and gel in the hope if there was something in it it would flush out, she didn't think he needed AB drops as it wasn't ulcerated and didn't look infected. The wet face didn't improve and I was getting ready to take him back to the vet for sedation and a really thorough examination. Maybe an in turning hair, he has very fine white hair so it would be hard to see on a wiggly pig. Yesterday I was watching him approach the water bottle, he goes in sideways always the same side and rubs his face along the nozzle, hence wet face! I've moved the bottle and time will tell but his face is dry today and he is approaching straight on most of the time.
I feel a bit of a twit for not working it out sooner. Anyone else had a strange piggy health concern no one could work out?
