Hi
Does anyone have any advice (or can point me to a thread that has advice) about how to approach toe clipping. I find it bad enough cutting my sons toe nails so trying to get my head around cutting nails on tiny wriggling baby piggies is already scaring me. :help:

I find it difficult to do even when someone's holding my pigs for me, one in particular will not sit still lol.Have u got a vets near where u live? My local vets charge £4 or £5 to cut their toenails and if u ask they can show u how to do it yourself next time

I wrap them in a towel and distract them with their favorite treat. It's easier if they have clear nails as you can see the quick. If you are really uncomfortable then it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a vet show you so that you don't them. I also always have styptic powder on hand just in case, although I have only ever needed it once
