I have just inherited Rory the guinea Pig from my daughter. I have learned that he will need to have his nails clipped once a month but I will not be able to do this. Does anyone know where I could take Rory to get his nails clipped in North Tyneside?

@Sheilab A nurse at any vet practice can do it for you. You could ask them to show you how to do it if you feel confident enough in trying it yourself .

Hi and welcome!

Please enquire at your local vet practises; most have nurses that are willing to do it for you against a small fee.
Here is our recommended vets locator: Recommended Guinea Pig Vets

Is Rory a single pig?

Most vets will do it for a price, in our area some pet supply stores have monthly nail clinics where you can bring all manner of pets who are difficult to cut nails on.

I take mine to the vet nurse about every 8 weeks.
She charges me £5 per piggy and they also get weighed and a quick check over.
