Delilah has clear nails....my only **** is iv no idea when she needs them cutting.

How often do * cut ** piggies nails?

We tried to look on wed my bf got hold of her....only she bit him and drew blood so we thought it was best to check another day as she was obv in a mood.

Help!

I cut mine when they are sharp, you should be able to see a thin red line in them, you need to avoid cutting close to this. You need to only take the very tip off just a tiny bit and leave it for a few days to allow the quick to recede, then take a tiny bit more off if you think they still too long. If your unsure your local vets will do it for a small fee or maybe someone close to you on here might be willing to show you :)

Yep - as above!

Mind you I hate doing it too...I enquired at my local vet as to the cost and they said £8 each pig! I have 5 of the blighters and I couldn't afford to keep taking them every few weeks...so it is a family job now! One holds pig (usually wrapped in a towel), one holds snacks and one does the actual snipping!

Ooooh great thinking with towel and snack ill have to do that!

If shes a biter the towel trick is the best idea, i do all my animals as and when apart from the chinchillas and degus as they have rocks to scramble on which keeps them down :)
