My guinea pig's nails are long and are ready for a trim, but the problem is that I can't even hold her yet so how can I trim her nails? Any advice?

I use a towel and a big plastic bin to cut my boy Finn and Lara's nails, a towel to hold gently and a plastic bin is used so they can't go anywhere.
It only takes about a minute to cut all of Lara's nails. It take around 5 minutes to cut all of Finn's nails becuase he complains a lot so I have to give him breaks in between. I want to keep good relationship with my boy Finn so I need to be gentle with him.

I always take mine to the vet where our lovely nurse trims their nails, weighs them and checks them.
It costs me £5 per piggy

Thanks! I'll probably just go to the vet. Do you need to bring your own clippers?
When I went to the vet for nail trimming, they had their own clippers. I'm not sure if it's the same for all vets, though. You could always call and ask :)
