Today we have clipped Pigs' nails but I am a little concerned as the front feet nails seem quite curled, we just took the very ends off, do I just keep doing that regularly until they are looking better?
Luckily they are white so we can see the quick. He was unimpressed and quite wiggly but we managed to get something off of each toe.
I can try and get photos of helpful.

Yes! Curled nails are a definite sign that the nails aren't being taken cared of regularly. So keep doing that regularly till the nails look better.

The Ever Beautiful Betsy has curled nails and I look after them properly and trim them regularly. As piggies get older their nails tend to curve to the left or right.

Thank you @Betsy, Pig is 3yrs, I'm hoping we can just keep trimming regularly and it will help, well that is if we can keep him still long enough! He was a right wiggly thing!

Have you tried wrapping him up in a towel like a sausage roll?
I've not yet tried that, I watched the video from the care guides but I think it's safe to say we didn't get that technique right! I feel the towel may be the better way, it's getting the balance of not completely scaring him and upsetting him with need to trim his nails.

My friend dosen't cut her piggies nails alot so her piggies got curled nails and were hard to cut. My piggies hate trimming and always squeal. Olivia is older but dosent have them, just coco

Yes it can be a result of not taking care of the nails but it can also just be as a result of ageing. Every pig is individual so it won't necessarily happen to all
