Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any images on how long adult nails should be on the back and front feet.

I trim my boys nails regularly and the back nails have always been longer than the front but when I was trimming gizmo's nails today the nails on one of his back feet are curling. He is black all over and I have perhaps always been a bit over cautious when trimming his nails.

I will trim them every few days to try and correct the curls but if anyone has any pictures as a guide for me to follow that would be fab.

thanks

Back nails are always longer than front ones. Curling front nails are normal; they get thicker and twistier the older a guinea pig gets. Some piggies have naturally curlier nails than others, especially with the two outer nails of the front feet - they bend sideways in adult guinea pigs.
