hi everyone
i was wondering what is best used to stop nails getting too long? and curling over? before they start happening is a brick ok? or something along them lines ?

Piggie Nail clippers. A rough surface would only hurt their feet. Nails need to be cut on a regular basis.

um okidoke I have those! was just thinking of a nicer way to do it!

Could someone give me a link to the best nail clippers to buy? Need something quick, Matilda isn't adverse to the odd nip whilst I struggle

I find cuticle clippers easier to use than nail clippers but everyone has their own preferences.
If you've having problems with nipping get yourself a decent pair of gardening gloves, the posher the better.
They may seem a bit expensive but you need something that will protect you from angry nips but still be flexible enough for you to gently hold onto wriggly pigs. I got myself a pair of suede ones, they're lovely, soft and flexible but toothproof, well worth the £8 I paid for them.
I think they're for rose gardening.
I got them with Moonpig in mind ( she has been known to nip ferociously during nailclips ) although last weekend she was the only piglet who didn't kick up a fuss so I ended up going gloveless! mallethead
