Hello everyone,

So I have rescued three guineas, two of which have been named (Willow and Daisy).

I am now thinking of some names for the 'middle' guinea :)

She is long haired (peruvian/sheltie) and red and white.

So does anyone want to help name her? :) She is the most skittish of the trio but I calms down quickly.

I just took some. Do I upload to photobucket and then put links here? :)

Spice, Thistle, Lavender, Flow, Rapunzel, Rosie, Peony? :))

Oooh I quite like Thistle (as shes so spiky) but she has a beautiful soft personality and is already asleep on my lap. I was thinking of something soft and girly. It doesn't have to be plant related - I was staring out of my window thinking of names for the other two girls ")

I'm not great with sensible names I'm afraid, all my pets names tend to be on the sillier side!
For a shy pig I'd go for something ironic like Bosshog! Makes people laugh when you tell them. And the pig seems even cuter with a tough sounding name! I was going call my boy guinea was Stampy von Ironclaw, (the thought of a piggy stamping makes me giggle), but I eventually settled on Cuddles McWaddlebottom. And his girlfriend is Pickles McWheeky! Told you I was rubbish with names! Other names I considered was Wibbly (because of their "wibbly" lips) or Barrel (because guineas can be long like a barrel)
On a sensible note I really like thistle as was suggested xx>>> x

Those names are awesome! I wish my partner would let me call them great names like that but unfortunately I'll have to settle for the boring names :)

I really like Thistle and Cotton :) I'm quite torn between the two.

Petula or Doris, Robin, Roberta, Henry, Georgie, Sophia, Madge, Peggy x

cottons lovely, she does look like a big pile of wool waiting to go on one of those old fashioned looms! I really like that one! x

I like thistle and cotton! I was thinking Dandy (as in dandelion!) - white and fluffy!

Loving the crazy haired piggies :))

don't ask me why but i'd call her marjorie! :)) that's just the name that came to me when i saw her! :))

I think we've found a winner :))

I made a list of the names I liked: Lavender, Cotton, Thistle and Blanche and then sat her down in the spare room and waited until she was calm. Then I called each name out and the only name she responded to was Cotton :))

I was also thinking she could have a middle name too: Cotton Thistle xx>>>

So now we have Cotton Thistle, Willow and Daisy :)

Any middle names for the left over girlies? And I will use Lavender and Blanche if Willow has girls as I am keeping any females she might have.
