It's been awhile since I've posted here but since Cindy passed away a few weeks ago I've been looking to get a new pig since I still had Sylvia. Yesterday we went and picked up this gorgeous Abyssinian female. They've been introduced and are getting along great, and Sylvia seems happy with her new friend. The only thing is, we are all completely stumped on a name for her.
Any suggestions are welcome! :)

(she's still very shy so I could only get a picture of her in the box before we got her)

Make a short list of the names that appeal most to you and then use them in turn for a week. Usually one will stick.

But I have renamed some of my own piggies when a nickname really stuck some months in or the chosen name just didn't fit the emerging personality.

Please don't stress yourself out; your gorgeous girl will eventually name herself and there is no rush. Guinea pigs identify themselves in a very different way to a human name; that is basically just the way humans call her to grab her attention. Piggies are much more adaptable to name changes than you think. My Bronrhyddyn (Robin - his baby name) didn't have a problem with growing into Baeddan (Welsh for 'Boar') as his adult name when he morphed into the biggest son with the smallest bird name.
;)

I am currently getting my new arrival Sisu used to her Welsh Tribe name Sulwen (pronounced Silwen - it is the most similar sounding Welsh name and means 'Bright Sun').

She's very cute!
What about Autumn🍁, Apricot or Violet?! I usually name based on their colouring, usually after foods that match their colours😊..
Or I name them something that suits their cute little faces😍
