Got up early to get pet food when it was cooler
Fed the boys
Cleaned out the piggies
 
Fed pets and spot clean and litter boxes
Ate yogurt
Trimmed nettle's nails and brushed both cats

All pets settled and Aldi opens in a half hour.

Might do some weeding later.
 
Enjoyed girly weekend away
Came home
Showed OH purchases.

(he said that 2 dresses, a pair of sandals, 2 pairs of shorts, a T Shirt, a new purse, a nightie, a birthday pressie for a friend, 2 tubs of Sticky Toffee Pud hot chocolate powder and some Cadbury's mis shapes wasn't much for a weekend away. Well next time I clearly need to buy more!)

Got fleece in wash
Started cleaning fridge

Going to clean kitchen and chill
 
Anybody have some motivation techniques to do yardwork and house cleaning?

I have to pull weeds and organize my house if I want to have my aunt over.

I'm lazy.
 
Actually I got some organizing done.

With the pets taking up the two spare rooms I haven't got a lot of extra space.

The cupboards are full so there's canned cat food and the pets meds on the counter. It looks tacky but whaddya do.

The window cleaner came

Went grocery shopping

Did some work in the study with piggies making happy noises behind me
 
Cleaned kitchen floor and did dishes
Vacuumed living room
Brushed cats
Washed cat bowls with soapy water

Nettle doesn't like being brushed so she gets a treat every few strokes. It's working. Got a lot of hair off that short coat.

Now they are sunbathing

Took care of pets
Had frosted flakes and took vitamins
Did prayers and devotions

It's a holiday so the bank will have to wait till Monday.

I'm going to a coffee shop then the dollar store for some cleaning supplies.

First I'll do dishes and play some harp. I kinda like it and hope they aren't sick of it.
 
Rehung newly cleaned curtains, properly this time 🤔
Gave Polo a bum bath with shampoo as his grease gland has made his fur dirty and sticky. He seemed relieved afterwards, it might have been itchy, poor piggy 😌
Made brunch, cooked more than expected by adding leftovers, ate it all cos I had to 😚

I’m sorry too - your Dad clearly loved his cat so it will be hard for him

I used some of the language about bereavement I've seen on this forum and just let him know he saved his cat from the streets and how much the cat appreciated it.
