Name Three Things

Good you are doing as you’ve been told !
Did it all go well ?
Yes it did thanks. The Dentist had to put A LOT of local anaesthetic in so I couldn't feel anything she kept having top it up. Now I'm living on painkillers for a few days. I hope it all heals up nicely.

The cats woke me up at 5:30, Nettle started destroying the blinds so I had no choice

Cleaned cages and got fleece in wash

Had yogurt and a protein bar

As soon as the fleece is done the cats and I will go for a nap then I'll do floor time then it's off to work

I have some sad news. I hit a raccoon on the highway with my car the other day. I was going 70 mph and I couldn't swerve fast enough. Hoping it's never a deer, I could get really hurt.

Took care of pets, they let me sleep till 6:30
Got a few things at the store
Cleaned kitchen and living room

Not happy the cats caught a mouse. Maybe more came in!

The cats are grooming each other in the sun

I have to say well done Barrett and Netsy !
My daughter had an awful time with mice in her house …in the Summer
And my new neighbour moved in next door in December ( the house had been empty 6 months ) and had mice in between the floors - it stressed him out as it sounded like elephants !
So good cats - I hate to kill any living thing but ……..sometimes ……

Kept my blood sugars within range all day (ive been diagnosed with gestational diabetes so I'm on a miserable diet cant wait for baby to come so I can have cake again)
Had a bath.
Cleaned the bathroom (the most half hearted clean with detol wipes not the deep clean it needed but better than nothing)

Fed pets, spot clean, litter boxes
Had protein bar and vitamins
Got human laundry washed and hung up

I'm going to do fifteen minutes of weeding today. I really want to pick up all the cigarette butts, too.

I'm officially 43! middle aged. The past 15 years has gone fast. I don't think I wanna turn 50! Yikes!

Sorry about the gestational diabetes.
At least you know it will go after the baby is born.

43 is not middle aged - it’s still young.
Middle age starts at 60, but not for everyone 😁
Happy birthday

It better had do. They keep saying it can develop into type 2 diabetes and a few people have told me it never went away for them but at least I can be less strict with the diet if it's only me I'm hurting.

My SIL had gestational diabetes and it went away as soon as she had the baby.

My MIL had it too (not related to SIL only SIL by marriage) and she developed diabetes (tablet controlled) in her late 70's.

Yes but it would be nice to have the occasional chocolate brownie without without fearing for their safety. At the moment I'm worrying if I'll be able to have a slice of cake at my baby shower in 2 weeks time

Clean cages
Stopped at store for laundry detergent, coffee, hay, cleaning wipes, paper towels. Went over my budget
Got fleece in wash

Gotta sweep and tidy countertops and vacuum living room when fleece is done

First shift tomorrow, last training day

Hi Sweet Potato!
I had GD for my pregnancy too. It is SUCH a pain in the arse and I completely understand how you feel. Having to prick your finger 3 times a day was not fun, and very inconvenient.
However, I tried not to worry too much (easier said than done I know).
I did still eat cake..and biscuits.. I just didn’t go mad with them of course. I tried to have sensible meals that wouldn’t spike me. But will regularly ate my favourites such as sausage and mash with gravy (vegan..but still heafty lol).
My readings were usually okay.
Of course, this was my experience and I’m not saying that just because I was okay that you will be too. DO be mindful, listen to your body. But don’t panic. have a little sensible little sweet treat if you’re really craving it.
Me and my baby turned out fine. My diabetes went (though I actually never got around to checking after the birth..I only checked recently about a year and a half later..).
Good luck!

Swept kitchen and did countertops
Vacuumed
Cleaned piggy water bottles and cat bowls with soap and water
