hi, hopefully soon i will be picking up an adult ginger, black and white abyssinian guinea pig. it is a companion for my poppy as bonnie passed away a week ago. i’m just wondering if you have any name suggestions? note- i’m not looking for overly- cute names like fluffykins or something 😂 just a nice, cute name (it’s a female pig)

Perhaps a flower name like daisy or peony to go with Poppy, it's hard to name a piggy until you get to know it. I look forward to seeing some pigtures of her when you get her settled.

good idea! i saw her today and got to hold her, very bubbly personality! thanks xx

Some ideas - Beulah, Petula, Winnie, Dulcie, Sadie, Jessamy, Daphne, Florence... Apologies, I like thinking of names! I once had a gerbil called Doris (not the start of a limerick!) and I like it when pets have 'old lady' or 'old man' names. One of the random bits of rubbish that my brain retains is that Michael Palin once had cats called Betty and Albert. Anyway, I'll shut up now!

I’m rubbish on names, but just wanted to wish you well on the introductions. I’m sure you’ve read all the guides. But best to be prepared in case the ladies don’t take to each other! I’m hoping they behave and look forward to seeing photos of them once they are settled.
