I got the name Lincoln for my guinea off Prison break and was watchin it as we were thinking of names and it suited him:p.

How did you all think and decide on your piggys names?

At the time our first piggie came, we had a cat called Daisy (she came with that name) and she was a member of a larger cat group on the internet who all had "flowery" or "herby" names. So Basil was our first pig, followed by Parsley, and then Marigold and Lavender.
Sadly Daisy died, but we are about to adopt a friend's cat as she is emigrating - and the cat's name is Saffron, coincidentally following on the floral theme.

(This is Basil)

Poppy, Violet, Ivy, Honey, Herbal, Clover, Olive and Dill(on) were all named after nature and plants. Biter is biter as the first time I picked her up after she was born she nibbled my fingers. Indy is after Indiana Jones as he is super brave and adventurous, Badger cos he has a bdger strip, Bumble has she has a bee bum! Humbug cos he looks like a humbug mint and Patch as she has patches and Womble just because LOL

We are going to call our 'two little boys' that we get on 17th from Bettypig Rolfy and Harris. The two chocolate aby girls that we hoping to get from Graham (Sokel) next month will possibly be Wispa and Twix. I love the flowery, herby names too. My piggies that have gone with my daughter are called Nutmeg, cos of the colour and Doughball because she used to work at Pizza Express to earn extra money for uni, (My daughter, not the piggy!) x

i just called mine what suited them! no theme apart from they all have human names. Mine are Pheobe, Ruby, Bethany and Maggie

I have quite a list really but as mine are rescue pigs a lot of them came with their names!

Iggle Piggle - red dutch - named by my class at school
Boo (short for Tomliboo or however you spell it) - Silver and white pet - Iggles friend so named to go with him!

Zak - tri peru - from Sokel rescue - came with his name
Tommy -tri Alpaca - named by my step son!

Roo - agouti aby - originally came from the fact that I used to have to take him everywhere with me in my bag in his tiny carrier as he was a poorly baby and I felt like a Kangaroo carrying him about! He has grown into his name though by being my naughtiest and most bouncy pig!

Honey - cream, agouti and white - named for her colour
Bella - black and white rex - because she is beautiful!

Chester - lilac rex - the name popped into my head when I saw him at his foster mums aged 3 days old and stuck!

Wilson - tri rex - came from Hopper Haven with his name
Holly - red and white aby - I adopted her from Hels at Christmas
Tinkerbelle - red rex - from Sokel - because she is the naughtiest pig I have ever met!

Delilah - red/white lunka - it suited her madam like personality!
Dudley - silver/white lunka - named to go with Delilah

Bonnie - black/white dutch - from Sokel - came with her name

Fraggle - agouti sheltie - looks like the dog from fraggle rock!

i named ( well my sisters OH did) Scruffy because hes a Merino and instantly when we got him, everyone said his fur looked scruffy, so ....

Max is called that because he was named that at birth, he does look like a max though, its so sweet!

Mines really boring comapred to the rest of yours!

My sow is called Treacle as when we first got her she wouldn't sit still and ran everywhere so it seemed appropriate :)p

Thomas got his name from my friend, there has always been a strange tradition in my house that my friend names any new pets.

Sparky was given that name at the rescue and I didn't rename him because he really suits it rolleyes also my nanas Teddy is called Sparky so I was banned from renaming him.

Prince Harry was given that name by me while he was still at the rescue and I was debating as to whether to adopt him he got it because of his ginger fur and his habit of sitting with his nose in the air. Plus he's a proper gentleman (and loves classical music) :Ayociexp121:

Huxley - From the kids prog Huxley Pig

Hamish - An "H" name to go with Huxley

Lolly - Popped into my head

Looby - An "L" name to go with Lolly

Maddie - Another name that just came to me

Toddie - Todd means Fox, that's his breed

Irving - Means Boar friend (he did live with Toddie)

Garry and Minty - had their names already, but Garry has a bit of ginger about him and Minty is grey(ish!).

Benjamin already had his name - thought about changing it, but Ben was already stuck!

Dave was called Dave as all the others had 'geezer' type names...

Now affectionately called 'G-Pig', 'Moo', 'Benjamino' (or 'big pig') and 'Davey Boy' (or 'Baby Dave' or 'Lil Dave Dave')...just don't ask!")
