Piggies tend to name themselves. See what they are like and their personality and you will find a name for them. @Sonnet adopted a guinea pig called George but he wasn't a George he was a Spud. I had 3 piggies born here (shop litter I am NOT a breeder) and they all pretty much named themselves. Christian had to be Christian cos he's several shades of Grey. Meg and Dennis just looked like a Meg and a Dennis. Velvet is Velvet cos that's what she feels like and Betsy is The Ever Beautiful Betsy cos she's just beautiful.

I agree with @Betsy - piggies do tend to name themselves. As mentioned, I have a pig named Spud, who was George. My other one came with the name Bob, but became Sprout.

Maybe wait and see if any names come to you when you see the piggies.

I’m a bit of a geek so my boys are named after fantasy/sci fi films. Frodo from Lord of the Rings (he’s a bit of a scruffy looking white/ginger aby) and Loki from the Marvel films (he’s a mostly black smooth coated crested) If I get girls they’ll probably be named something to do with Disney or a computer game lol

I aways seem to name mine when they arrive here and change it again a few days later because the piggies personality doesn't suit the name I'd chosen!

Completely agree! Mine usually name themselves, whether I like the name or not lol. If it pops into my head and won't leave then it's meant to be their name!

Can’t really suggest anything but I’ll be interested to see what you choose

I agree that piggies name themselves. I named Stewie after the character from Family Guy cuz he’s naughty and mischievous, Sooty because of his colouring and Leo cuz the way he lies on top of things reminds me of a lion, plus he has a little mane lol.

Agreed that piggies name themselves  Still, I too like the more non-typical names (although the name Cocoa was chosen; No regrets, though!)
Here's my personal list for names that I've thought of in the past
GIRLS:
Janessa, Alyssa, Jojo, Bunny, Athena, Mabel, Violet, Lola
BOYS:
Finn, Finnegan, Simon, Max, Toto, Dasher

I like it when names go together, like mine, Smokey and Bacon, so here are a few:

Tom and Jerry
Cocoa and Bean
Mario and Luigi
Peach and Daisy
Macaroni and Cheese
Cookie and Cream
Spaghetti and Meatball

I really wanted a couple of floofy long haired Donald Trump wig types and I was going to call them Hercules and Spitfire. Instead we rescued a pair of ready named short haired piggies.
Cool names, both aeroplanes

Agree that piggies name themselves. They usually live with me for a week or two with the name “new pig” until I find something that fits. Saying the name out loud to them you can test and try it, sometimes it just doesn’t feel natural and doesn’t work.

I recently got two new pigs so had to refer to one as “pigeon” to my partner as she’s grey coloured and the other one was the “long haired one”. Pigeon was starting to stick unintentionally so we quickly changed it to Penny which works really well for her and feels natural/right to us.

Sage and onion!

Parsley and thyme.

We started out letting the kids name them and ended up with Linney (from WonderPets, which was my daughter's obsession when she was little) and Frenzy (from Transformers.) We then ended up with Sundae, because the kids thought she looked like butterscotch ice cream. After that we decided to go with sci-fi/horror names, so right now we have Hadley (named after the colony of Hadley's Hope in the movie Aliens) and Leela (from Futurama.) Future pigs we will probably try to stay in that general theme, either from sci-fi/horror books, games, and movies.

I've had to talk my kids out of some crazy names. My son was really adamant he wanted to name Frenzy 'X-Wing Fighter.' I just could not see myself having to take X-Wing Fighter to the vet so I suggested he come up with something a little shorter until he settled on Frenzy!

I never name any of my pets before I get them. 1 of my boys is named after having a conversation with the lady that sold him to me about her chihuahua (I also own chihuahuas). Her dog is called Frodo so that's where piggy number 1's name came from. Piggy number 2, I saw him and straight away he was Dexter. I don't know why, I'd never even thought of that name before but he's a definite Dexter. Maybe I subconsciously heard him whispering it to me XD
