I'm pretty worried about both of my boys..

They are both seeming rather quiet.. Barely any wheeking.

It sounds like they are trying too wheek but it's coming out kinda nasally? Is the only way I can describe it. But I am hearings the occasional wheek however they are usually extremely chatty pigs. They both seemed fine yesterday!

They are tucking into some pellets, but not as many and as quick as usual!

I'm so worried! :(

It could be their bedding or a URI brewing :( What bedding are they kept on & are they indoor/outdoor piggies? If they are not eating very well & are the same tomorrow I would advise a vet visit.

I agree best to get them checked out. If it is a URI, ask for Bisolvon in addition to antibiotics to help clear any mucous.

Tried them with some veg this morning, they are eating! Still no pellets or hay though.

Sounding a bit more lively today but still nasally! Gunna try and get them in the vets today.

If they have a lack of appetite clearly something is not right. I think you need a vet visit today, if they say they have no appointments explain you think it could be a URI & they need to be seen today. Please weigh them daily at the same time of day so you can keep an eye on any weight loss at all.

The boys are in the vets at 3:10 this afternoon :)

I have a question. We have two rabbits bring currently treated for a URI. Is it possible I could have taken it up too the pigs? The rabbits are outside, the pigs are in. Even after washing hands ect..
