Heyya ,

I've been pondering over the natural products in p@h the last couple of times i've been in there. They look really nice but some of them have egg and milk products in. I thought they were also quite expensiveishh . What is the best thing? What do your piggies like?

Hi, I don't buy mine treats as such. Products with egg and dairy products and honey are a definite no no. Guineas like hay and grass and their fave veggies :) Mine do like dried Plantain (they prefer the fresh, but dried goes down well too :) ) which Sally at Pampered Piggies does. She also does other 'Natural treats'. Mine also like the Grassy Logs she sells :)
 
things with egg and milk, dairy or honey in are definitely not good . some of the naturals stuff are ok, mine looove the herb garden and herbs plus ones and they're fine, just check that they don't have bad stuff in. it's crackers to put some of the things they do in so be a label reader! ;D i think the best as karenrgpr said are Pampered Piggies, they have really natural stuff. mine :smitten: :smitten: the strawberry & raspberry leaves and the hays, they also love the herbs and plantain. :smitten: the grassy log shells look great! wish i had more money to buy the whole Pampered piggies shop! ;D ;D ;D
 
Thistle Cavies (put into Google) also do some great dried herbs and you are helping rescue pigs. I do them on Planet Guinea but only in bulk. I think Sokel does them in his shop too on his Chin site.
 
thistle cavies and planet guinea are both great. it's good to get stuff from thistle cavies cos it helps the rescue-they do such a great job! :smitten: :smitten:
 
When you buy from pLanet Guinea it helps the rescue too :) But Thistle have more guineas than me and do their packs in pet size :)
 
mine like the coneflower, and jerusalem atrichoke bags of stuff in the naturals range
 
Ooh, that Thistle Cavies site is great...and its really good to know when you're buying your helping out some poor neglected guinea :)
 
Cobweb loves Nature Snacks - they are like little cigars filled with grasses and different herbs/plants. He goes mad for them - I buy mine from the Thistle Cavies shop. He likes the bags of Naturals too, especially the Herbal Garden - you can get those from Thistle Cavies as well. Check out their shop, it's brilliant - and you'll be helping piggies in need too! ;D

Don't be silly! ;D and I only have a small proportion compared to Wendi, but I do what I can :) Perhaps I should broadcast it a bit more LOL!
