Well my old boy Dylan and his new date Arnie had a bit of a set to the other night and i got up to half of Dylans lip missing 8.... Arnie and Dylan were curled up together :{ so i left them where i colud see them as had a vets appointment at 4 that evening Arnie went from being nice to aggresive but Dylan was by no means innocent he kept stealing food and hip swaying as he walked past so i made the hard descion to split them up as Arnie has also come down with fungal (we think due to stress but great advice on how to deal with this from the potteries guinea pig rescue its now under control)

So set about bringing them all back in as Dylan and Arnie were outside to have more space re-arranged the room and put Dylan next to Foxy and Choco so he could have a natter. Big Mistake grrrr i came home today to find Foxy had removed half Chocos ear and hair all over the cage and big chunks missing out of my gorgeous Choco but the argument seemed to be finished. After speaking to Claire from the rescue i have removed Dylan he was in c&c at one side and am keeping a very close eye on them but they seem very relaxed now.

I have bathed his wounds as only superficial except the ear but its gone now and dont think foxy will give it me back :)) and its not bleeding anymore but am leaving them in peace as i would be so sad to split them up.

So thats my week of naughty boars but i love them so much and they do have lots of space and 3 of everything i think its just hormones.

pointless post just wanted to tell you about the naughty boys think i will get them a little boxing ring and bell for christams :))

Seems like you are going through the wars a bit at the moment! mallethead

Oh dear, boars can be a bit naughty sometimes can't they? Sounds like they've really been putting you through the wringer. :laluot_20:
(((((hugs)))))

we made it through the night i had the door open so i could hear if any arguments occured and i did not hear a peep must of been the fact dylan was next to them that caused them to fall out, I'm certainally learning alot very quickly.

They know they have to be as cute as they are or the wouldn't get away with so much... like flinging poops at OH when he's trying to sleep on the sofa (MWHAHAHAHA! :))) or chucking their bowls down their ramps and making us jump if they've eaten everything.

Boars are very mischievous and can be very naughty :^- Mine certainly are!

:)):)):)) we love them so much because they do all of these naughty things though i'm sure!

I hope that you can and work out what is best for your boys; it is often a steep learning curve. If it is any consolation, you learn as much (or more) from your mistakes - and we all have been there at one point and made our own experiences!

I remember when Oscar (butter wouldnt melt) took a huge chunk out of Alfies lip. I was really upset. I seperated them immediatly and Oscar got ever so lonely on his own, shouting out everytime someone came near his hutch.
After getting both boys "the snip" both are happy now with their wives. But it is a good job they are so cute aint it lol.

Gosh that sounds very stressful!

I hope they all settle down soon! Boars are such hard work! :))
