Junior Guinea Pig
As some of you guys know my boys couldnt stand each other and used to fight all the time. Well thank God they have become best friends now. They have just now teamed up to destroy their new cage! yup. They have been biting absolutely everything, tunnels, hideys, toys, etc... I'm not sure why, they used to love carboard boxes to sleep in now they just keep tearing them apart as soon as i put them in the cage.
i give them plenty of hay daily and they have wood toys in the cage for then to bite, so I'm not sure where this behavior is coming from. Does anyone knows what might be happening?

x sometimes my late guinea pig Pedro would bite everything he shouldn't despite having all sorts of proper toys designed for him. Wooden skirting boards & table legs were his favourite

Sounds like they are just having fun, we have had destructive piggies in the past Vimto and Sarsaparilla use to rip up newspaper and pass it to each other mouths... very odd and loud.....
