I just want to share with you all how naughty my little girls have been this morning.

1) I had them in their pen in the kitchen and I popped outside to bring the bin in. When I came back, the little madams had pushed the pen across the floor and chewed the rubber door mat leaving nibble marks in 2 corners!

2) I brought them upstairs with me in their piggy basket and left them on the bed whilst I nipped to the bathroom. When I came back, they were no longer in the basket but running around on the floor!

3) Eleanor disappeared under the bed and had a big fat wee on the carpet!

4) Eliza disappeared under the bedside table and chewed the skirting board!

5) Both of them were madams and wouldn't let me catch them.

They are now safely back in their hutch where they can't get up to any mischief :))

Has anybody else had naughty piggies?

they always wee in the most awkward place to clean don't they!

:)):)):))

That reminded me so much of Minx and her capers!

Or of little Tegan right now, who somehow ALWAYS squeezes out or jumps out of the cages and has a singular talent for going missing and turning up in the most awkward spaces...

I completely agree about the weeing!

I've got two cages pushed together at the small sides, and Tegan managed to squeeze in between them, for starters! Not the first place to look after five years of strictly adult pigs...
The other day, she sneaked out of the living room altogether and ended up hiding behind a shoe of my hubby's in the hall. Jumping over a wooden hut to disappear in the bottom of the tv cabinet...

In short, we are having fun and games! rolleyes

Here is one from when Minx got trapped in a seed tray:

One of my guinea pigs was out for a run and decided to rip a chunk of my wallpaper off! didn't eat it just ripped it off and ran away while doing the odd popcorn!! little vandal :))

Teddy is good at small spaces. there is a really small hole by our sofa. Teddy managed to get that in that hole! i quickly dismantled the cushions as we have storage space under our sofa and there was teddy sitting on top of all my paper work! i don't think he can fit through it anymore as he has got a bit bigger, but little piggies certainly get in awkward spaces! :))

there is no way you can stay angry with them tho! there like I'm so cute look at me and I'm just like awwwwww :))

Andy just lets Pheobe do what she pleases, he puts her down and she toddles about, then she disappears under tables/sofas/the bed/where ever she can and pees and poops and eats the carpet! Andy just says "aww, she's just doing what she wants to do, she's just free spirited!", but the second I put one of the others down (who are all much better behaved!), he has to grab them and not let them out of his sight! it's as though he finds Pheobe's rebellious streak the most amazing thing in the world!

Oh nooooooooooo not naughty piggies, just beautiful piggies, can't possible believe all that ;):(|)
You don't think it's cause you weren't paying 100% attention to them do you? rolleyes

I"m having such a giggle at all these stories, i have the biggest smile on my face :)

I totally agree, there's nooooooooooooo way you can stay angry at them x)

I know if my girls go walkies during playtime and do wee's i carefully move a towel and either lean on it or leave it there to soak up the wee's, then Allan doesn't notice it rolleyes

ahhh, the old wallpaper trick... my old piggie Pickwick was good at that and had my mum redecoraste half of the downstairs rooms! :))

My first piggy, Mimi, had nibbled all the table mats, which was a little embarrassing when we had guests for lunch! :))

Rene and Bertie probably thought that our old flat was edible... they chewed on everything especially electric wires, skirting boards and the futon! Most noticeably tho, are Rene's teeth marks on all the boxes, bags, etc, that Maxy keeps his kilt paraphernalia in! Naughty Rene...rolleyes

And then, there's the crazed chase to get them home when you're already late for work... Rene was a master at that. he'd run away, wait for you round the corner of a piece of furniture and then prfft, gone again with this catch-me-if-you-can look! Then, what can you say at work? 'I'm sorry Sir, my Guinea pig was being naughty'. Thankfully, my colleagues knew that a) I am a nutter and b) my piggies are my world.

i let mine run around my bedroom floor and i cover up the gaps but i forgot about a tiny one by the bed...so willow decides to go an play hideand seek but when i find her shes chewed and ripped my college bag..but she must of been so proud of herelf because she was sitting in her home made hole and just looking at me
