I went out to feed the boys last night and Smudge had ripped all his newspaper up (again), and Spike had chewed yet more of his hutch (despite having plenty of chewable stuff in the hutch). Every now and again I find myself saying 'I really wish you wouldn't do that' to them like they're naughty children (although I wouldn't change them for the world).

There's loads of reasons why we all love our little furry monsters, but they're not perfect angels all of the time!

Do your piggies ever get up to mischief, or have they got any naughty habits that annoy you just a little bit?

Where do i start? lol

No mine aren't too bad, one thing that does annoy me though is Lilly always has to bury his head and dig into their dry food dish and everything else spills out all over their platform which makes a mess, i keep telling him there isnt anything interesting at the bottom and the mix is all the same, but does he listen....? So i have to clear that up everyday!

:(|):(|) me thinks your boys are being rather rascally there love rolleyes xoxoxoxo

mmmm the one that makes me laugh would be most mornings, not always i come down to find their fiddle stick house up the top has been moved a fair bit (mind you it's not got a lot of room on the mezzanine floor) then they act as if they've not moved it ..........
awwwwwwww you just gotta love them eh xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

where to start! Mine tips over whatever is being used as a hidey place (i get empty boxes from work and cut holes in them) and i find him sleeping in the corner with one eye open looking at me as if to say 'well, arent YOU going to sort that mess out?' like he had nothing to do with it!

And he kicks the veggie pot over so it all goes on the floor. And he somehow manages to pull random articles into the cage that dont seem anywhere near. And he chews holes in anything i give him. And he always makes a beeline for anything with a wire during floortime. And he chews the skirting boards....i could go on and on and on....lol! :))

Thanks, I'm glad its not just my lot that have got a naughty side!

Spike's the worst - he used to be such a timid piggy, would run away at the slightest noise or movement. But he's recently developed a whole new level of confidence and has turned into a right little monkey.

Bless 'them, for all their faults we still love the little furballs :))

Mine likes to knock the hay rack down and spill the hay and then play and throw it everywhere.

My naughty Guinea pigs just ate some of a plastic bag, I know its my fault for leaving it next to the cage, but they ate it. I dont know if it was all 3 of them or just one did it, but theres a hole about the size a little bigger than a golf ball, and theres no peices so I know they ate it. They look fine and they just ate lettuce and now there munch on hay, is there anything I can do, will they get blockages or could it just pass through without anything wrong. I'm so worried.

Keep an eye on them but it sould be ok, check they're pooping etc. I would have them out for some floor time cos then you soon see whos pooping and whos not! One of mine once ate some shoe lace :o but he was ok and recently my numpty of a boyfriend left a bag of cabbage on top of the cage and over night they ate all the veg and the bag. This caused a couple of runny poops but other than that all ok!

Mine will drag out the hay, have them strewn all over the fleece and promptly sit and pee on it. And of course they only eat the fresh hay, anything with pee and poo they will turn up their pretty pink noses at @)

Mine are luckily very tidy eaters! They just eat out of their bowls as they go. They don't really move things around their cage either...i think their most annoying habit is peeing absolutely everywhere rolleyes all over their pretty cosy beds/tunnels and even up the side of their food bowl one time :{

Yes mine are terrible! At night the except out of there cages and go to there club house! Then party all night! And they always. Leave there bottles and confetti lying on the floor -.- and then the hijack my car and drive all over and waist my gas! And they never poop in the toilet! They think the floor is better! An they always fight! Of "mom! Bubblez is in my flower pot!" or "mom! Dale stole berries carrot!" like gosh! Cabernet ever get along! And to make things worse, they strip my fridge and cup boards of fruit and veggies and even some veggie crackers! Like there wild pigs!

Oh god mine ate the tape off the coroplast in their cage, and I didn't notice until they'd had a good bit of it mallethead:o:(:{ But they are perfectly fine (it was a while a go) and it is covered now.
Some mornings you get up though and oh my goodness the mess they have made, you wonder what on earth they have been up to. It is a little bit like they've had a party whilst your sleeping :)) xox
