I was poop scooping like you do, picked up Daisy to check her claws & have a sneaky cuddle as she's the most cuddliest piggy ever x) & when I went to put her back the other two scurried away quick then I noticed that half of the rubber bit on the dustpan was missing :... Seems Chubbs & Ziggy took it upon themselves to have a quick nibble whilst my back was turned & demolished most of it!

My fault I know, I feel so bad about it, they were very quick sneaky thieves :red
Will they be ok? The rubbery bit was very soft, it is softer than their hay so I hope it will just pass through naturally. Naughty piggies rolleyes Of course this just reinforces Daisy's angelic status :)

Haha! I'm sure it'll be fine, one of mine chewed the rubber edge of my door matt and they were ok :)

Oh, the rubber bit on my dustpan has quite a few little nicks in it where they've had a sneaky nibble when my back's been turned! Cheeky things!

The boys had floor time in the bathroom the other day when I was cleaning out their cage. They have been there many times and never bothered with the little wicker waste basket I have there. This time I walked in to find they had rolled their tunnel into it, knocking it over and their were chew marks all over it. I didn't know if they had chewed on any of the spilled contents. I was worried because the basket has some sort of wood stain on it and it could be toxic. 24 hour watch but they were fine. A few months back they had managed to take chunks out of the camping rubber mat you put under sleeping bags. Also a 24 hour watch but they were fine. It amazes me what they can chew on and not get ill.
