naughty piggy

Now..I know having two baby boars, there is going to be the fair share of mounting, chasing, who can wheek louder, bum sniffing, wiggle bums, and so forth. But I've had a few incidents make me guestion if choco is a naughty piggy.

He steals everything food wise from smores, dosent matter if i just gave him the same thing, and first..he will drop his apple as if its stone, and come steal smores. then smores will go to the apple choco dropped and choco will come steal that to. then I learned if I hold smores for him..choco would leave it be. NOT TODAY. today..he tried to steal it out of my hand...and when I wouldnt let it go with his yanking, he BIT ME. not hard, and my hand did smell like pepper...so it COULD have been an accident. Although I guestion if it was..because he did the same thing not long ago, when I was treating his ear for possible start of ringworm (smores has one of his tum)..he reached around and bit me then too.
again..not hard.
But I dont want him having a habbit of biting.

Is there anyway to discourage food stealing and biting the human!....also..he thinks he is king of the hidey cube. he will head nudge smores until smores gives up and gets out. UNLESS his highness wants to snuggle..then he will find smores and snuggle up to him. he even grooms smores,and smores him..so...i know they are bonded. ...they dont seem to have any FIGHTING...just more less normal boy behavior aside from food stealing and biting human mum?>
thoughts anyone?

I find if i say NO not too loud or AH when they're about to bite they stop and look at you....... well it's worked with my two girls!
Make sure you have two of everything, two bowls, two hideys..... this will stop Choco from ousting little Smores.

Well I do this high pitched ANTTTTT sound with the dogs, and tis so far worked..so maybe I'll try it with pig.
If he wasnt so named by my daughter ..Id change it from choco to SIR or PRINCE..since he seems to be his royal highness. ....lol.
I do have two hideys. one is the soft fluffy cube, and the other is a twiggy log thingy, and I have a fleecy bottom on it. so smores has another spot to go to should he want to hide. but I find him in the hay , or snuggled up under the ramp most times. ..he seems to prefer hay. ...as his bed. His highness however stays in the hidey cube unless playing, running zoomes , being fed, or getting a drink. He LOVES the hidey cube. he'll share it for a little while..but when he's ready to actually sleep...he outs smores. I have one giant gravity feeder (to keep pee out)..and they both eat thier pellets well out of it together..no issues. But when I break out the veggies and fruit..oh boy HH (his highness)..turns into a butt!
I may start putting some veggies into the hidey hut to keep HH occupied and maybe smores can get a few noms in. His wieght hasnt decreased..so he's getting fed. LOL. I guess I just want to teach HH some manners. lol

ahhhhhhh perhaps he should be named Prince Choco |) and then of course it would be Sir Smores |)
I put veggies in two separate places in the morning so i know they get their fair share... but at night time it's in a big bowl to share.
Well it does sound like PC is boss piggie |) he has Smores in his little paws and he's quickly getting you to do what he likes too! Aren't they precious x)
They will settle down, just going thru their teen years at the moment.

Well he acted up again this morning during cream...and so biut the time he goes to bite I said no, and puffed a bit of air at him. He stopped, like whoa what was that..then we started with the cream again and he went to bite again and I repeated the no and puffing at him. Try to put cream on him again..and this time just said no...he decided mum was seroius and he stopped being a bitey pig and took his cream, and went about his busines, lol....fast learner, sure hope so

Oh and after all that guess who let himself be sweet and allowed smores in the hidey cube and was smooshed up against him asleep..yup choco. Darn pig...made me a liar

I had 2 that fought like medieval knights whenever they were given food but fine when not, I simply took one out and fed him in a totally diff place, problem solved

so far he just steals. Smores just goes, after whats left, thankfully choco tires of, fetching smores food dafter a while, realizes he's stealing not eating, lol. But if smores drops weight or a tiff comes up I'll for sure do as,* are
