my friend was looking after my piggies in june,and placed the wrong boar in the wrong run.....matthew is not neutered.
this herd had the neutered boar in the run as well.so it has been a tense time to see if the sows where pregnant ! i think we have had a lucky escape.i have 3 boars not neutered,were going to be neutered pre lockdown.my local vet whom has neutered all 17 of my present and previous boars without any complications is only doing emergency appointments .i would like these boars neutered as soon as.i do not ever want to have anymore near misses.it has been a fraught time waiting . i have 21 piggies in total and do not want to add anymore.just shows you how easy mistakes can happen.!
 
Oh goodness what a worrying time. Is there any news on when the vet is able to do neuters? I think my regular vet is back doing them already
 
Thank goodness none of them are pregnant, that must have been a very long wait for you!
 
What an anxious time you have had, you must be so relieved they have got away with no pregnancies. I hope you can get your boys neutered soon.
 
What an anxious wait you’ve had @eileen. It’s such a pain that vets aren’t yet routinely neutering piggies.
