Nearly gave in ......

I very nearly gave in to temptation yesterday. I had an hour and a half to kill while I was waiting for Christian's eye drops to come into to vets ..... so I went downstairs and had a look at the Vets4Pets adoption centre (always a dangerous thing to do). They had a gorgeous piggy called Pickle in and he had such lovely colouring but I thought as he was an unneutered male and I have a very delicate balance between my piggies I couldn't take another male home. The OH would have had a fit had I come home with a new piggy. Anyway now is not the time to bring a new piggy home as I have no room for them inside and it is far too cold to be putting a new piggy outside in a hutch as it wouldn't be acclimatised. April or May for a new piggy (if I can talk my OH round) when it's warmer outside and it would have to be a girl piggie!

I try to avoid the rehoming centre, I always see somepig I like if I get tempted to look, somehow my feet seem to drift that way if I'm not very careful. I absolutely have no more room!

I always have to have a look. There were two gorgeous boys in ours on Sunday. One was a silver agouti but I can’t have any boys as I have no room for another cage. It’s the single ones I feel sorry for There was also a black with with bright red eyes in the baby pen, I bet he / she ends up in the adoption centre

Funny mine tend to drift in the way of the adoption centre too.

i keep walking past guineas when i go in places with them.... very slow walking.. ok stopping for ages ogling them... struggling, but knowing i must resist (ok except Tiggy, but that was kind of different )


i was asked if i wanted another girlie to add to my trio today... I'm having to give myself a serious talking to, whether i will have her or not.
I would love to have her but i will have to rearrange things for more space if i do have her.
She's beautiful & fuzzy, her gorgeous little pad-mate crossed Rainbow bridge today & her owner can't face saying goodbye to any more

I see a trio of boars in my pets@home a while back. Pretty rare, they all looked atleast teenage maybe adult
