Nearly lost Cenci!

I just looked out the window and nearly had a heart attack, Cenci the baby guinea pig was wandering around on the patio, with two cats just sitting there taking no notice!

Him and Moxie were in the run on the grass for the night (they have a house in the run) and the grass was a bit uneven, but I never noticed there was a small gap in one corner. Luckily Moxie didn't get out, and Cenci went over the the hutches to try to get into the other piggies! And I caught him easily. Normally he would try to run away a bit and avoid being caught, but I think he was scared and wanted to go home

Luckily the dogs were still shut in for the night . . . Poor Cenci if they were out.

oh dear that is a bit of a worry! I check to see whether the runs rock on the ground before i put piggies in them....

Yep, I'll have to make sure everytime now that the run is on flat ground. There was just a tiny space under one corner, but he's only young so can fit through tiny spaces!

I heard guinea pigs squeaking through my open window this morning and looked out half expecting them to be loose in the garden, but nope
