me my mum and my lil bro are going to get a pig for my pig hunnie is it ok to get hera little girl?

advise please will be great thank you
 
Do you mean a baby female guinea pig? As Hunny is a girl it's best to match her with another girl. Boy guinea pigs are naughty creatures and you may find yourself expecting baby piggies if you get a boy.

A female is definitely the best idea.

Perhaps but it depends on the pigs. If the baby is clingy and dependent and the older one very caring and sociable then probably but if one is the reverse then they won't...it just depends on the pig.
 
She might do.. I have no experience of sows, I have boars. I know that it's easier to pair up females, and there always has to be a dominant pig (male or female) so if the baby is little she will be no real threat to Hunny who will naturally be the dominant piggie anyway. Guinea pigs crave guinea pig company so I think Hunny will be delighted! Like gp-d says, it really boils down to personality.
