right we now have 14 piggies will upload potos of the 2 newest members
we have 2 x 3 tiered 120cm cages so space in these cages for 12 piggies proving it boy/girl
cage 1:
2 girls: danielle+pixie
1 neutered boy/2 girls recently bonded: ally+noodles+rockstar
1 neutered boy/2 girls recently bonded: henry+ginger sparkle+fuzzy
cage 2:
2 boy brothers who are very close: hurley+harry
2 boys recently bonded: keith+treacle
2girls recently bonded: muffin+snowball
I know its not ideal for the 2 trios to be in a 120 cage but thats all we can do for the time being and it wont be for long

OPTION 1:buy 4 x 150cm cages: 1each for the 2 boy pairs and 1 each for the 2 boy/girl trio
will sell 1 of my 3 tiered cage and put 2 stacked 150cm cages in its place with 2 150cm stacked next to it and reduce other 3tiered cage to a 2 tiered cage for the 2 girl pairs

OPTION 2: buy 1 150cm cage and get get keith and treacle neutered and hopefully match up with rockstar and ginger sparkle or muffin+snowball then we would have a boy/girl pair for each 120cm cage=12 pigs
then the 150cm for harry+hurley can be put away from all the girls in the other end of the room
so option 2 seems the better out of the 2 as far as cost and space and making sure there are no un neutered boys near the girls but the reason why we got treacle was to avoid anymore neturing after we lost our beloved max after neuter op

would love some feedback from you guys as not sure what to do for the best :{

silly question but can you make C&C cages?

I wouldn't recomend the neutering unless the boys fall out.

Sorry but neutering in guinea pigs rarely makes a difference to behaviour

I think that was more meant as if they fall out neuter so they can go in with females more than anything

Can you make correx tray cages. I have a 6ft x 2ft tray and its perfect for my 3 but could fit another in easily. hard to stack but you could keep bigger groups in. You could make some shelves and stack them that way

I know it makes no difference but if you read one of her options was to neuter to pair off with 2 of her girls.

But if the boys get along then i wouldn't risk splitting them up and neutering them to live with girls. Only if they fell out would i consider having the boys neutered.
