With me having such a large amount of guinea pigs i need to find an option to get large sacks of food for the least amount of money but need to be able to give my guinea pigs the best..

I havent tried my guinea pigs on pellets because i know most of them wont eat it..
I dont know how i can get pellet food and then get them all to eat it..

:/

ADVICE NEEDED!

If it's the muesli:
P@H do one: a lot of my friends who feed it find their guinea's look healthier on it than nuggets.
Wagg crunch: it's very cheap: 10kg i think for about £15. My piggies were on it and loved it but they began getting picky so i had to do nuggets. May mix crunch with it when they get bored though :)

How do you know they won't eat pellets if you haven't tried them with it?

Can you not just buy a smallish bag and try and see how it goes?

I didn't think mine would eat them, they do look boring and tasteless to me, but they wolf them down :D

Pelleted food really is the best thing you can feed as it completely prevents selective feeding which is one of the major causes of GP obesity. I would recommend a gradual change from the muesli to pellets by mixing a larger percentage of pellets into the muesli each day over a week or two. I know it's not the cheapest option but excel guinea pig black currant and oregano goes down a treat with mine. Try finding a supplier online, you may be able to find it cheaper than in the shops. It may even get them started on pellets, then you could try to find a slightly cheaper alternative?
