I was playing with my guinea pig and right when I picked him up I was careless and I accidently dropped him from 2 feet in the air and he stopped weeking and he was making this weird noise and he started bleeding from the mouth I checked his teeth and they weren't wobbly and there is no busted lip and when I put him back in his house with his brother he started playing with his brother like normal but he keeps making this weird loud breathing noise I don't know what to do and I can't take him to the vet because there closed I searched for answers everywhere and I couldn't find any so I felt like this was the only place I could go where people actually have some knowledge in this

I'm sorry to hear this.

Your piggy does need to see a vet. A fall can cause internal injuries so it is urgent that he is seem as soon as the vet opens. I'm afraid we can't help with anything other than providing emergency care advice (which does not replace a vet check) such as switching from the routine weekly weight checks and instead weighing him daily so you can ensure he is still eating enough hay to maintain his weight; and stepping in with syringe feeding if he loses weight.

I hope he is ok

Hi and welcome

I am ever so sorry for the accident but I agree with @Piggies&buns . You piggy needs to see a vet as soon as you can.

Please read the green links about what you can do in the meantime - which doesn't replace any veterinary care and medication but contains detailed practical advice about what you can do that we cannot type out in full length every time; seeing that we are all doing this for free in our own free time.

I hope he will be OK. Try to keep him in a small area so he can't move around alot if you can without separating him from his brother. The vet will probably want to do X rays. Sending wishes for comfort 🙏
