Hi and welcome

If he is doing this repeatedly, then please see a vet. It can be a build up of wax or ear mites etc. that obviously causes some irritation/discomfort and requires a hands-on examination. Ears are best left alone and not home treated on spec as you can easily make things worse instead of better.

PS: We aim to answer any thread on this forum as soon as we can, seeing that we are UK based and that we are doing this for free in our free time. You can help us a lot by stating your problem in the title instead of ending up at the back of the queue under 'unidentified' when we are working our way down from the most urgent issues. You won't also attract any members with personal experiences with your particular issu. Thank you! ;)
Please Start Your Own Thread And State The Problem In The Title!
