I'm a relatively new gpig owner and are anxious about them so much they arent even that tame they run like hell when i try to touch them I'm so worried i cant get them out can anyont help with that?-c-c

Guinea Pigs take months to get used to people, they are little creatures that are wired in to survive predators.
Their first instinct is to run and hide. I wouldn’t try to stroke a shy piggy
I start by sitting next to their cage and gently talking to them. This might go on for a week or two. Have some tasty veggies that you can pop in through the bars. Eventually your piggies will associate your voice with food and will start to look curious about what you’ve brought them. So this progresses to them taking food from your hand and the gentle talking goes on.
In the meantime if you want your piggies out for exercise than choose a snuggle sac or carry box, take all the hidey places out of the cage, and put the carry item in. Your pigs should run into the carry item for safety, then you can transfer them to a run without scaring them with your hands.
If you want cuddles, again pick them up by using the carry box or snuggle sac etc. and have a cuddle cup on your knee to snuggle in, this gives them security. A nervous pig won’t eat from your lap but always have their tasty treat and eventually they will relax more and start to nibble.

Where is their house? Mines next to the sofa so I can easily sit with them and they're used to people around them and moving. Only one of mine comes to eat food from my hand when I hold it to the cage, the other one is still suspicious :)) and when I call his name he pays no attention to me whatsoever, Alfie on the other hand knows his name and looks around.

It is definitely a time thing. My boys are still quite skittish, but I let them clamber all over me, sniffing, licking and chewing lol, so for instance if they're on the floor and I come along and sit down, they come and have a sniff and go 'Oh its you!' and then treat me like a piece of furniture. Today they were outside and weren't doing much so I went and sat with them and it made them relax and have a run about.

Like Salt n Peppers mum said get something like a snuggle sack, and let them clamber over it so it smells of them, then pick them up in it, anything that smells of them they're generally less wary of.

Thanks heaps for the tips, ive had them for about 6 months now and they wont let me near them, they are outside during the day and in at night time, the nighttime sleepy cage is across from the computer in the study. Thanks again guys and if anyone has more tips feel free to share. :))xx>>>xx>>>

I also do the carry box method. Pop it in their house with some fresh hay and some veggies in to start with and they'll learn to associate it with nice things. It makes going to the vet easier as well!
Also when you have got hold of them let them sit on you and everytime offer them their favourite veg. They'll eventually be unable to resist it any longer and will have to have a nibble. They learn to associate you with nice things. Have you got the theme yet? :))
The way to a guinea pig's heart and trust is through food!
