Hey so I was just normally checking on my guineapigs and realise my guineapig had some fur stuck on his nose and like it was very stiff. I’m not sure what to do as i’m quite worried, therefore can someone help me! It will help me so much

Does your guinea pig live with a male? Are they a male?

I’m guessing it’s “boar glue”. (Basically ejaculate!)

If there are only females then I’m stumped!

Yeah omg what do you think I should do?
Do I like take it off?

It will 'disappear' on its own if it is boar glue. Keep an eye on it to make sure it's not anything else.

You might find that the boar responsible will nibble it off. Unless you are very competant at using scissors near your piggy's face, leave well alone as there is a reason for it being called boar glue. Don't bother trying to soften it with water, it won't work. . He won't stand for having that on his nose for long, so it should be gone soon.

'Boar glue' is a very discriptive way for dried semen because it acts like superglue. If it is stuck right down to the skin, you have to wait for it fall off unfortunately.
