These are tabs in my Guinea Pig Pellet packet. Brown one is easy to crush and I think it is for sure vit C tabs. But what are those maroon color tabs for, they can not be broken, when tried to crush it act like it is some clay type material, it is water soluble and have no taste(P.S. I tested taste thing personally :P)

If they were in your guinea pig pellets I would assume they are from some other animal feed (dog or cat) that are made at the same factory and have got into the wrong bag. If you send a sample off to the supplier they should refund you or give you a voucher. I know this has happened to other members who have found dog or cat biscuits in their guinea pig food.

That is terrible!
You should get a refund or voucher, as shellza said.

Make sure to keep a few for yourself. Sometimes manufacturers will try buy you off and just dispose of what you sent them. I seen complaints sent in before and as soon as it is in the manufacturers hands, the ball is in their court so to speak.

First off thanks for all replies, secondly its the only guinea pig pellets available in my city, it is very hard to find. I've not fed those tabs as even I'm not sure.

P.S. its really hard to find even hay or pellets required for pigs. I'm importing hay and its pricing me just 25USD for 20 Oz bag(original price some 6USD) of Timothy hay.

Just read on packet Vit E,A,B-12 supplement. Damn I should read before posting. Please pardon me for my mistake.
