Mum is really going for it with Squeaky now (see thread in behaviour)... Squeaky and Bigbum are fine when mum is not there and they happily snooze etc... but i have just given mum a time out in the carrier and popped her back in and 10min later she is at it again...
I cannto afford another cage at the moment (just checked in the shops) and i cant leave mum in the carrier for the next few weeks...

I really need someone to help me out please? Either if i can borrow another cage for the time being for mum until i decide what to do or if someone can take her in? This is getting really horrible now as Squeaky is terrified...
I'm in the midlands and have transport...

Nothing has changed in their routine or food at all... It is like a switch has flicked... Mum is fine health wise as well... so are the other two...

Ooooo hang on... all has gone a bit quiet for a moment... they are lying down nibbling...

I am holding my breath but it would be good to have a standby option if anyone can help?

Is there a way you can put a temporary partition across the cage so that they are in the same cage but divided? A cooling rack or some chicken wire across it? Maybe given time apart but still within sniffing distance would help.

I'm too far away to offer any other help, sorry!

Hope all ok

I cant unfortuantely put a partition across it... I have put an ad on freecycle to see if anyone has one to borrow, but it seems to be tolerable between them at the moment.
Squeaky still freezes when her mum comes close but its only for a second... they have a lot of vegetables to be going on with at the moment so that should shut them up for a bit!
I am keeping an close eye on them at the moment and listening for any stress noises... If needs be i have a feeling i can fashion a pen for mum out of some wood i have rolleyes:))

I am completely stumped as to why this has started happening!
