hello am doing a course financial essentials and i had to choose a product and do research on it so i chose oxbow timothy hay. so i have done the research now just need some testimonies good or bad. hoping you can help me. i am doing this course via correspondence. i look forward to hearing what you have to say about it. sending hugs :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: girls send :-* :-* :-* thanking you in advance O0 i will copy your opinions and copy onto work and only send to my tutor at Cengage Education here in Australia NSW. once marked it will be sent back to me. if you would rather i can use make up name. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

that sounds really exciting Mary, good for you on doing a course :) I've never used oxbow timothy but I'm sure others have...good luck with the course :smitten:

I have been feeding it as a supplemental thing, as I cant afford to feed it unlimited (they get unlimited oaten hay, from the feed store). I absolutely love Oxbows Timothy though. It is so green and soft and the girls absolutely dive into it. Would love to be able to feed it to them unlimited.

Mine have always had it on an unlimited basis. It costs me a fortune, but once they have tasted it piggies often won't eat anything else! ::) ;D

mine like both the timothy and oat hay by oxbow, i also have them on the oxbow pellets. like said above I dont feed them oxbow hay unlimited as its costs way too much! lol so they get a bag when i have a bit of spare cash :)

Am I too late? I get the Oxbow Timothy Hay through my vets, a huge box every 2 or 3 weeks, and I think it's brilliant. My piggies live indoors, so an added bonus is the lovely smell in the room with us, as they hay smells so pleasant. The pggies have it unlimited, they love to eat it and they each have a hay ball which I fill and they sleep in the hay, in the ball. As has been said, it's very expensive (as it comes from the U.S.) but I'll happily eat bread and cheese so my piggies can have the best!

The only negative for me is that there is always a lot of waste, as there is a huge amount of dust in the bottle of the large boxes I get. For the amount that it costs, it's quite annoying.

thank those of you that replied. i have included statements in my assignment. thanking you all again. i am guess the negatives concerning this product is the dust at the bottom and the cost. thanks again everyone. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
