Neighbour and their new kitchen installation.

My next door neighbour is having a new kitchen installed. The kitchen is against my livingroom (so I can't hear anything other than banging, sawing and drilling) plus the pigs cage and bed are against that wall. The council did not tell me that this would be going on so I haven't had the chance to move the pigs home :( Hope they are ok. Am I worrying over nothing?
 
How do the pigs seem? Are they behaving normally, or hiding from the noise?

Perhaps you could try playing some music quietly in your living room to partially disguise the noise, or have the TV on in the background.
 
They seem fine to be honest. They are both eating pellets as I type this so don't really think they are bothered.
 
Ours rarely get worries by drilling even when we where having rendering done on our old house Pitch and Putt didn't care one bit. Glad your piggies are fine with the noise too.
 
It must be ok then. They are asleep now - if only I could sleep through it :P
 
My guinea pigs are not bothered by drilling or noise in general...., (as said) i think i am more botherd than they ever are :P
 
I'm just settling my two boys & have builders making loads of noise as well - they don't seem in the least bit bothered by the noise of the builders but as soon as I make a small movement they run away and hide!
 
Sounds like my new neighbour, 6 weeks solid she has had builders in day and night even sundays banging and still not done and shes still sleeping on a blow up bed, I ain't a clue what she is doing but its giving me a headache :))

Yours rarely get worried becuase you never do any DIY! :))

I am sure they will be fine, its always me hiding from fireworks and thunderstorms in my house! x
