Today I had to make that final decision of love for both Neo and Coco and asked the vet to help them cross the rainbow bridge to be with their brother Rainbow who went ahead in December.

Came home from work and both had lost all movement in their back lags. Got to the vet but there was nothing they could do. I know I made the choice to ease their suffering, but I feel terrible about it

RIP beautiful boys. Popcorn free

What a heartbreaking thing to come home to, I am so sorry to hear this.

Please take care of yourself, multiple loses in such a short time is so tough and really overwhelming for anyone.
The final act of love is one so dear but so tough, I can imagine how loved they both felt in their last moments knowing you, each other and their brother Rainbow were there by their side.

Sleep tight Neo and Coco, popcorn free over the bridge with the gorgeous Rainbow and may you be at peace ❤️🌈

Thanks piggl, it's hard but I'll take care of myself

So sorry, take heart they are back with their brother, it’s the hardest decision but made with love x

So sorry for your losses, what a horrible situation to come home to.
You gave them that last gift of love but it is a painful gift for us to give.
Be gentle with yourself as you grieve

Just had a call from the vets customer care.

They've been very sympathetic. Given both boys had the same problem at the same time they think it's a genetic issue.

Probably caused by intensive breeding for the pet shop...

I’m so sorry you have had to say goodbye to Neo and Coco. Take care ❤️

Just cleaning out the cage for the last time for the time being. Got my all welled up again. How can such tiny creatures cause so much heartache 😭
