Hello :luv:

So my mom and I are currently having fun sewing different things for my future piggie and her companion/s and I just had a quick question.
We are wanting to make a kind of tent hidey, but the fleece and fabric combo isn't strong enough to hold up the sides. We don't have the wire that you would put into the sides to make it stay up, but we do have a fabric called neoprene which could stand up on its own. Online there really wasn't much info on this fabric for guinea pigs so I just wanted to ask if you would think it was safe or, if you have used it before, any importnat things to keep in mind?

Thanks :D

I’ve never used that for tents. Could you instead put poles through the sides of the fleece parts so it stays up?

I don’t think it would be harmful for the piggies. The only thing I wonder is how practical it would be when it gets weed on. Neoprene usually stays wet, and it might get a bit stinky! It’s not usually recommended for machine washing either, though I guess it depends on the specific fabric.
