I have been given a Nero 2 cage and i was wondering whether it was big enough for 2 guinea pigs. They would be in there mainly only at night but occasionally during the day aswell. Would this be suitable?

ive got the nero 3 deluxe and i have 2 in that..is there a lot of difference size wise?

I have my 2 boys in the Nero 2 but they are only 15 weeks old, it is already getting too small so i am getting a much bigger cage for them on saturday. I would not advise this for 2 pigs as is is less than 3ft long. My 2 girls are in a Nero 3 Delux, this is much bigger.

i wanted the nero 4, but the cage is in an alcove in my room, and my room is quite small, so i could only get the nero 3 deluxe to fit with like 2cm gap at each side! it is fun trying to pull he cage out of cleaning, you gotta be good with angling the cage!

if you are only using it occasionally it would be ok but in my opinion the nero 2 is way too small for 2 guinea pigs for any length of time. i had the nero 3 and thought that was too small for 2.

I have the nero 4 for two piggies, as this is the biggest I could fit in my bedroom, and I added a little level inside the cage and then a bigger level on top of the cage

just thought I would help you with some ideas, on how you could maybe adapt the cage

i like the idea of an extra level, but my boys are under shelves so there is no room for another level, me and my bf are looking at buying a house quite soon together anyway so i'll be able to make them a nice big run/house, luckily my boys arent adult yet either, I'm sure mine and my bf's stuff wont take up allllll the rooms lol they can have their own bedroom
