Is it safe to pick nettles from the local park and give it to my piggies could I go about cleaning them to make them safe

I guess you can wash them under a running tap, then you need to lay them out to dry in the sun. When they dry, they lose their sting.

So would it be safe to give them to them just dont want them getting ill if anything peed on then

I think you would notice, look for nettles up to about waste height that don't look trampled on. I guess the only thing that could pee on them then would be a squirrel lol. I've only just started picking nettles, haven't even dried my first lost fully yet, so I'm not expert
