mine love dried nettles, havent tried them with fresh ones, I'm also worried they might get stung, tho cattle and sheep eat them so dont really know...
Piggies dont like fresh nettles and I'm pretty sure they can get stung. I hadn't realised I had moved my run over a nettle and the pigs avoided the grass around it so either it smelt really bad or one of them got stung and warned the others inbreeding
If you pick a large bunch of stinging nettles and tie them upsidedown, hanging them somewhere dry like a shed over the months they will dry out.
In the winter get a pair of gloves and pull all the leaves off, crush them and sprinkle them over their food. A great source of free Vit C and most piggies love 'them
