Neurological problems after GA?

Just a quick question to see whether any of your had experience of this.

The vet seems to think that Merlin's wobbly stance and walk is down to neurological reasons but he didn't show any signs of this before he went to get his teeth done. Is it possible for a GA to cause this? Unfortunately I live in an area where Guinea savvy vets are few and far between, if there are I'm not aware of them otherwise I would've taken him there to get his teeth done. X
