neuter after care

my Guinea Pig got half neutered on the 9th, reason being when the vets started the surgery they found his bladder in one of the testicle sacs so they fixed it and took the other testicle out and they're hoping it'll go down itself now. my question is how long should he stay on fleece to prevent an abscess I seen a video of a pig getting an abscess after 3 weeks of surgery, he has only surgical glue no stitches thanks!
