Treacle was neutered today, is home now eating some grass cut from the garden. He has internal stitches, and the wound was also glued as they had an open bottle. He has metacam and baytril, and seems to be okay! Whew!

Only 6 more weeks until he's back with Pudding. A long wait, poor things.

All the best for smooth recovery!

Please contact your vet asap if there is seudden loss of appetite or there are swellings in the groin area (abscess, hematoma or hernia). Check daily for the first two weeks, then slowly lengthen the interval unto you do a weekly check after 6 weeks.

Cant help re grass question but wanted to say I love the names!

@Guinea Man He should be fine if he's used to having grass already. You might want to check that the grass isn't wet (unlikely but you never know).

So good to hear your little man is back home again. Hope the days pass quickly for him to meet his good lady again.
