Neutering a Boar

Hi,
I thought I had two sows but turns out I actually have a boar and a sow (and now two sow babies).
I'd like to keep them all so I'm trying to research getting my boar neutered. I've been calling round local vets and none of them seem keen and keeping telling me how risky it is.

So my question is, should this be a procedure that I can get done relatively safely? (I know there is always a risk) And if so, can anyone recommend a vet for the procedure that is within travel distance of Dumbarton, Scotland?

PS the boar is 7 months old

Yes, a boar neutering is a frequently done surgery and in the hands of an experienced vet is as safe as a surgery can be.
