So I’ve just got back from out local small animal and exotic pets clinic. The owner of the practice, who owns 4 pigs of his own and has done over 30 neuters beforehand, was more than happy with Pablo’s overall health and has booked him in to have the procedure on Friday.
I’ve got him set up indoors, with a lining of clean fleece and a soft piggie pouch to sleep in. The vet advised I bring in a bag of his favourite food (it’s so cute, it’s like a little packed lunch,) a nice balenced 50g of veggies ought to do it! I’ll be changing the fleece everyday and will use a cotton ball with some boiled (and cooled,) water to gently clean the wound every other day.
I just wanted to check with you guys to see if there is anything else I can do, that I haven’t already.
